Story

To create Esencia, we began with an overdose of Indonesian Sandalwood—creamy, persistent, and slow to unfurl. It lends a lasting warmth that anchors the fragrance on skin. Originally developed from the scent of our Sandalwood Collection, this composition builds on what many already know and love, with added structure and depth. We layered Haitian Amyris and Moroccan Cedar for clarity and shape, while Guatemalan Cardamom and Indian Ginger introduce brightness and movement. Labdanum from Spain and Fir Balsam from Canada offer resonance and warmth, balanced by the dry tension of Somali Incense and Filipino Elemi. Each material was selected not just for its scent, but for how it behaves on warm skin—shifting with time, lingering close, and drawing others in.
