This Privacy Policy describes how Studio Ready LLC (“Studio Ready,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and discloses your personal information when you visit studioready.com (the “Site”), make a purchase, or otherwise communicate with us (collectively, the “Services”). It also describes your privacy rights and how to exercise them.

Information We Collect

Information you provide directly

•  Contact details: name, address, phone number, email.

•  Order information: billing and shipping address, payment confirmation, email, phone.

•  Account information: username, password, and security details.

•  Customer support and communications: information you include when you contact us.

•  Marketing preferences: email/SMS sign-ups and preferences.

Information collected automatically

When you use the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect information about your device and your interaction with the Services (“Usage Data”), including IP address, device and browser type, operating system, network information, pages viewed, referring URLs, and interactions with pages, emails, and advertisements. We collect Usage Data using cookies, pixels, SDKs, and similar technologies (“Tracking Technologies”), as described in the Cookies and Tracking Technologies section below.

Information from third parties

We may receive information about you from vendors and service providers, such as Shopify (our e-commerce platform), our payment processors (who collect payment information to process your orders), shipping providers, and marketing and analytics partners.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies; Your Consent

We use the following categories of Tracking Technologies on the Site:

•  Strictly necessary: required to operate the Site, keep your cart, process checkout, prevent fraud, and remember your consent choices. These are always active.

•  Analytics and performance: help us understand how visitors use the Site (Shopify analytics, Google Analytics, and Triple Whale).

•  Advertising and marketing: used by us and our advertising partners (including Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Google Ads, and TikTok) and our email/SMS provider (Klaviyo) to measure campaigns, build audiences, and show you relevant ads on other sites and platforms.

We manage Tracking Technologies through a consent-management platform. Where required by applicable law, non-essential Tracking Technologies are not deployed until you affirmatively consent through the cookie banner, and your choices are recorded. You can change your preferences or withdraw consent at any time using the cookie preferences control available on the Site.

You can also opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information for targeted advertising at any time via the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link in the Site footer. Our Site recognizes the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal: if your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of sale/sharing and targeted advertising for that browser or device, and, where we can associate the signal with your account, for your account as well. Other than GPC, we do not respond to “Do Not Track” signals. Blocking or deleting cookies through your browser is also available to you, though some Site features may not function correctly without them.

How We Use Your Personal Information

•  Providing the Services: processing payments, fulfilling and shipping orders, managing your account, returns and exchanges, memberships and subscriptions, and customer support.

•  Marketing and advertising: sending marketing communications you have signed up for (email and text messages via Klaviyo) and, consistent with your consent choices, showing you relevant advertising on other platforms. Consent to receive marketing texts is not a condition of purchase; message and data rates may apply; reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help. For EEA/UK residents, we rely on your consent for advertising cookies and on our legitimate interests for direct marketing to existing customers (Art. 6(1)(a) and (f) GDPR).

•  Analytics and improvement: understanding how the Services are used so we can improve them.

•  Security and fraud prevention: detecting and preventing fraudulent, illegal, or malicious activity. Keep your account credentials safe and contact us immediately if you believe your account is compromised.

•  Legal compliance: complying with legal obligations, responding to lawful requests, and protecting or defending our rights and the rights of our users and others.

How We Disclose Personal Information

We disclose personal information in the following circumstances:

•  To vendors and service providers who perform services on our behalf: Shopify (hosting and e-commerce platform), payment processors, shipping and fulfillment partners, analytics and attribution providers (including Triple Whale), our subscription and membership platform (Skio), video content and customer-support tools, and our email/SMS marketing provider (Klaviyo). These providers are contractually limited to using your information to provide services to us.

•  To advertising and marketing partners as described below under “Sale and Sharing of Personal Information.”

•  At your direction or with your consent (for example, when you use social-media features).

•  In connection with a business transaction (merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets) or to comply with legal obligations, enforce our terms, or protect the rights and safety of Studio Ready, our users, or others.

Sale and Sharing of Personal Information

Like most online retailers, we use advertising tools that involve disclosing certain personal information to advertising partners. Under some U.S. state laws, this is considered a “sale” of personal information or “sharing” for targeted advertising. In the preceding 12 months, we have “sold” or “shared” the following categories for advertising and marketing purposes: identifiers (such as email address, IP address, and online identifiers), commercial information (such as products viewed and purchased), and internet activity (such as pages visited and interactions with the Site), to the following categories of recipients: advertising networks and platforms, including Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Google, TikTok, and Shopify Audiences, and similar advertising partners we may engage from time to time (the cookie preferences control on the Site lists the providers currently in use). Where required by law, these disclosures occur only in accordance with your consent choices, and you may opt out at any time as described above. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.

Sensitive Personal Information

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information as defined by applicable U.S. state privacy laws (such as government identifiers, precise geolocation, biometric data, or information about health or sex life), and we do not use or disclose personal information for the purpose of inferring characteristics of that kind about you. Payment card data is collected and processed by our payment processors.

Children

The Services are intended for adults and are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us using the details below and we will delete it.

Retention

We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy: order and transaction records for as long as required for accounting, tax, and legal compliance; account information while your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter; marketing data until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it; consent records for as long as required to demonstrate compliance; and Usage Data for the retention periods of our analytics providers. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.

Security

We use organizational and technical safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no security measures are perfect, and we cannot guarantee the security of information transmitted to us. Please do not use insecure channels to send us sensitive information.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights, subject to legal limits and exceptions:

•  Access / Know: request access to the personal information we hold about you.

•  Delete: request deletion of your personal information.

•  Correct: request correction of inaccurate personal information.

•  Portability: receive a copy of your personal information in a portable format.

•  Opt out of sale / sharing / targeted advertising: via the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link, the cookie preferences control, or a GPC signal.

•  Limit use of sensitive personal information (we do not use sensitive personal information in ways that require this right, as described above).

•  Restrict processing / object (EEA/UK): ask us to stop or restrict certain processing.

•  Withdraw consent: at any time, where processing is based on consent, without affecting prior processing.

•  Appeal: if we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our response.

•  Non-discrimination: we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

To exercise any of these rights, use the privacy request links in the Site footer or contact us at info@studioready.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding. You may use an authorized agent, in which case we will require proof of authorization and may verify your identity directly. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.

To manage marketing communications, use the unsubscribe link in our emails or reply STOP to texts; we may still send you non-promotional messages about your account or orders. To opt out of personalized advertising supported by Shopify, you can also visit https://privacy.shopify.com/en.

International Users

We are based in the United States and process information here and in other countries through our providers. If we transfer personal information out of the EEA or UK, we rely on recognized transfer mechanisms such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (or UK equivalents), unless the destination has been deemed adequate. For the purposes of applicable data-protection law, Studio Ready LLC is the controller of your personal information.

If you have a complaint about our privacy practices, contact us using the details below. Depending on where you live, you may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection or consumer-protection authority.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on the Site, update the “Last updated” date, and take any additional steps required by applicable law.
